Deon Hart has one goal: quit his job. Unfortunately, his employer is the Demon King. Revered throughout demonkind as the legendary commander Damon Arte, Deon is feared as a ruthless military genius capable of impossible feats. In reality, he's an anxious human whose greatest skills are coughing up blood and accidentally making himself look far more competent than he actually is. Caught between the Empire that’s growing suspicious of him and a Demon King who puts entirely too much trust in him, Deon must hide the fact that he’s not, in fact, that kind of talent.
