あらすじ
In Edo-period Japan, Sadaemon, a sick village headman in Sukagawa, sent his beloved dog Shiro on a 2,000-km pilgrimage to Ise Shrine. Carrying a pouch with money, a logbook, and a wooden tag, Shiro traveled alone. Instead of robbing him, locals showed Osettai (sacred hospitality)—feeding him, recording expenses, and adding spare coins. Based on true history, this is a heartwarming tale of loyalty, adventure, and the deep honesty and kindness of Japanese culture.
