Akira Tokudo is a 17-year-old high school student who has never been loved by his family. Treated as a failure and blamed for everything wrong in his household, he eventually decides to escape one night with only a backpack and the money he saved for his freedom. However, his escape turns into a nightmare when he is falsely accused of theft and violently attacked by his own family. Running for his life, Tokudo barely manages to escape into the night, but his situation only worsens when he collapses in a park, exhausted and injured. At the moment he believes he has finally died, the world suddenly distorts and he awakens in a completely unknown place. In this new world filled with dragons, monsters, and unknown races, Tokudo encounters a mysterious “System” that speaks directly into his mind. It grants him the ability to survive—but only with absurd, low-tier, and often humiliating items at first. As a helpless boy thrown into a brutal fantasy world where survival itself is rare, Tokudo must rely on a broken system, sheer willpower, and questionable starting tools just to stay alive. But as he slowly begins to adapt, he realizes something far worse: This world does not treat survival as kindness. It treats it as a test. And failure is permanent.
