1 person reviewed! A masterpiece fantasy woven together with an overwhelming narrative power and a detailed worldview. The epic setting, unique characters, and, above all, the moving story development centered on the growth of our protagonist, Yo, are stunning. Yo's spiritual conflict through dialogue with the gods, the deepening bonds with his allies, and his ultimate shift from "power" to "symbiosis" are truly compelling. The writing is also excellent, with stunning metaphors and scene descriptions. While each chapter has a unifying theme, the overall structure of the story is excellent, forming a larger narrative. The only issue is the sheer volume, which can be a burden to the reader, but the level of completion more than makes up for it. The sense of immersion in this story world is rare.
