How do our choices, the choices of others, and their interactions shape our lives? The protagonist, Yoon Min-young, is a highly sensitive individual who, after being unfairly transferred to a rural area, struggles to suppress his anger. As his anger and sensitivity reach their peak, he faces an unexpected situation, and his mind manifests this as a hallucination. Within this hallucination, Yoon Min-young spends several tragic days, making various choices. He strives to escape his circumstances, but the choices of others intervene, steering things in an unwanted direction. The short story A Minor Choice cleverly explores the theme of how our brains can manipulate our senses, blurring the line between truth and falsehood, through the genre of a thriller.
