Tessa follows her boyfriend into a hotel questioning her his fidelity only to find him with a handsome man named Melchior. To her surprise, he kisses her, revealing his true form as a demon. Bewildered, Melchior believes she is responsible. He invites her to work for him as his personal assistant at the Windhurst Group to try to find out more about her as she seems to carry a special power.
